I had SUCH a stressful dream the other night!
*** Dreamt January 4-5, 2009 ***
I was walking around my parents' neighborhood, but it was my parent's neighborhood as it was when I was about 10 years old, so WAY fewer houses, and lots of fields. I was on the backside of the neighborhood so I couldn't see my house, but I wasn't TOO far away, when suddenly I heard a big explosion. I looked in the direction of my house and could see smoke over the rooftops. I looked down and noticed there was an electronic status board that showed a map of all the lots in our neighborhood, and there was a red flashing light on my parents' lot! That had to be bad!
I glanced behind me and noticed a firetruck, so I ran over to them and told them that my house was on fire. They started to grab their gear and ask me for details about what happened, but when I told them that I hadn't actually been there, so I hadn't personally seen the fire, they said, "Oh, well we can't go unless we're SURE there's a fire there." I didn't know what to do! My parents' house could be burning down, and these firemen wouldn't go.
Suddenly I realized why the firefighters were there. The monster. There was a gigantic monster, running across the land, killing everyone in it's path. And by "gigantic", I mean, like, the size of a skyscraper. And it's method of killing was that it would flip people up into the air, then slap them down so they hit the ground going INSANELY fast. I whipped around just in time to see it toss up the firefighters, then whap 'em down to the ground, I started to run, but it was no use. I was already flipped up into the air, and suddenly I was hit by the creature, and I tensed up as I flew toward the ground, but I didn't die. I bounced. The creature saw me and slammed me to the ground again. But again, I bounced. This sounds fun, but in my dream it was very disorienting and stressful. Basically I ended up just being violently dribbled like a basketbal by this giantatic creature.
As this continued, I woke up.
